How to use:

Before shampooing, create small parts in hair with the nozzle tip.

Squeeze the bottle and apply to the scalp from hairline to crown. Massage well.

Leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse well. Follow with shampoo and conditioner.

Can be used several times per week, depending on your level of buildup.

Our pre-shampoo rinse is formulated to be effective but also very gentle. At the Rootist, we know the importance of protecting and nourishing our scalp and its microbiome. That’s why we formulated this product with ingredients that clarify without stripping. The Rootbiomic Ferment™ in this product ensures the scalp is nourished, hydrated, and balanced. In addition, the formula contains soothing aloe. If you have a tendency toward sensitivity or have a known allergy, please check the label, and if you have any concerns, please patch test.
The Pre-Shampoo Scalp Rinse should be applied to the scalp 10-15 minutes before your shampoo. We recommend incorporating it into your routine weekly as a scalp reset!
Our pre-shampoo rinse is made for all hair types and textures and is suitable for chemically and color-treated hair.
Our pre-shampoo rinse bottle is made with 50% Post Consumer recycled plastic and can be easily recycled in most curb-side streams. When it's empty, unscrew and remove the cap. Recycle cap and bottle separately.
